A few simple tips for a photo that meets official requirements.
Face a window or soft, diffused light. Avoid harsh shadows or direct sunlight on the face.
Stand in front of a white or light-colored wall. No patterns, people, or objects behind you.
Look straight at the lens with a neutral expression. Eyes open, mouth closed, head straight.
Center your head and shoulders. Remove hats, sunglasses, and reflective glasses if possible.
